VIVA is currently looking for Network Planning Sr Analysts to be based at our corporate headquarters in Mexico City, reporting directly to the Head of Planning.
The Network Planning Analyst is responsible for the development of Viva’s fast-growing commercial route network. The team works closely with all commercial and operational areas to ensure the information required to build a sustainable and profitable network is available and aligned.
Key Responsibilities:
Define the appropriate number of weekly frequencies per route based on network strategy and historical route profitability to achieve profitability targets.
Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize flight schedules.
Align route capacity with fleet growth while maintaining high aircraft utilization.
Build and evaluate business cases for new routes aligned with Viva’s network strategy.
Use capacity, passenger, and revenue data from airports and other sources to forecast demand and unit revenues.
Conduct post-investment appraisals of new routes, comparing actual performance against initial business case expectations.
Requirements & Experience:
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Network Planning, Revenue Management, or Strategy within a leading airline.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong active listening skills.
Strategic thinking with strong attention to detail.
Team-oriented mindset with a people- and customer-first approach.
Passionate, authentic, and motivated to work hard while enjoying the journey.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree is a plus.
Languages:
Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
