The North & West US Regional Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the operation and service strategy at airports throughout the entire passenger journey. This includes supervising and leading the ground handling service provider to ensure a high level of passenger-focused service, as well as maintaining seamless communication with internal and external operational teams (CCV, baggage, IT, flight crews, IROPs, etc.).
The Station/Regional Manager will maintain a close working relationship with airport authorities, immigration, customs, and other key operational stakeholders, proactively advocating for the best infrastructure aligned with operational volume and ensuring ongoing alignment to minimize complaints, penalties, and delays.
This role must also identify training needs and opportunities for service and customer experience improvement, communicating these requirements internally and acting as the voice of our customers to help deliver an excellent service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and lead operational and service projects or strategies to ensure the organization’s objectives are met.
Ensure alignment and standardization of operational and service processes across all service providers and assigned airports by developing realistic implementation strategies for the teams under their responsibility.
Establish and maintain strong administrative and operational relationships with service providers, airport groups, and authorities through negotiations that secure favorable conditions to achieve company goals.
Promote, develop, and lead innovative initiatives by guiding and motivating team members to build skills, knowledge, and behaviors aligned with the company’s strategy and vision.
Actively identify cost-reduction opportunities to support the organization’s profitability targets.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced English proficiency (C1).
3 to 6 years of experience working with cross-functional teams, improvement/efficiency projects, innovation, aviation, and continuous improvement.
Experience with Office tools (Excel), Tableau, and GoNow.
Soft skills: Customer focus, communication, negotiation, resilience, adaptability to challenges, leadership, teamwork, adaptability to change, and conflict management.
