The Ground Operations Performance Manager, responsible for integrating the Ground Operations, Passenger Procedures, and Airport & Charter Operations areas operationally, ensuring consistent, aligned, and efficient execution across the entire airport network through a collaborative and standardized working model.
The role provides direct support to the Operational Excellence Senior Manager, acting as their operational arm in executing the Operational Excellence strategy, coordinating key teams and the areas under their responsibility, as well as monitoring operational performance.
Main Responsibilities:
• Lead the implementation and coordination of the integrated model for Ground Operations, Passenger Procedures, and Airport & Charter Operations.
• Provide direct support to the Operational Excellence Senior Manager in day-to-day management, coordinating the work of the teams reporting to them and helping to prioritize activities.
• Coordinate and follow up on operational changes affecting airports, assessing their impact on safety, operations, customer experience, and costs, and ensuring they are properly communicated and implemented in an organized manner across the network.
• Coordinate the operational relationship framework with ground handling providers, acting as a functional reference and a cross-functional alignment point.
• Ensure that operational and administrative processes and standards are aligned with Safety, Quality, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Identify and promote opportunities for improvement in processes, tools, and operational systems, supporting the implementation of solutions that facilitate team workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and reinforce standardization across the network.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Aeronautical Operations, or related field.
Intermediate – Advanced English level (C1).
6 to 10 years of experience in process management and standardization.
Intermediate – Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation tools.
