As our Fleet and Maintenance Accounting Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing accounting records related to fleet activities and fleet maintenance operations. This includes analyzing and recording line maintenance and heavy maintenance costs, tracking expenses, as well as analyzing and accounting for estimated aircraft redelivery costs, supporting budget preparation, and preparing financial reports. You will work closely with the maintenance department to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data, compliance with accounting standards, and effective cost management.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Oversee and manage accounting records related to fleet activities and fleet maintenance operations.
· Analyze and record line maintenance and heavy maintenance costs.
· Analyze and record estimated aircraft redelivery costs.
· Analyze and record End of Lease (EOL) costs, including amounts due to the lessor at contract end.
· Analyze and record owned aircraft accounting entries.
· Analyze and record lease decomponentization (IFRS 16 lease component breakdown).
Our ideal candidate:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 5–7 years of experience in the aviation industry (mandatory).
· Hands-on experience in fleet accounting, cost management, and maintenance accounting.
· Strong knowledge of IFRS 16 (Lease Accounting).
· Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
· Experience with ERP systems; Oracle and/or SAP S/4HANA desirable.
· Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and terminology.
· Familiarity with aviation accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
